Colorful Beer

Nikon D40 / Hand held/ f/4 / 1/8 sec exp. ISO 200 / 18mm focal length no flash

This was taken at Ceaser's Palace, Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It's a glass of "Ricker's White" , a very enjoyable beer which I have never seen in "the states" as the Canadians' like to say.

I know there are two beer related photos in a row, but I swear I don't drink that much.

I hope you enjoy the photo as much as I enjoyed the beer.
This bar had some really cool LED lighting that changed. It set a really nice mood (makes you wanna drink more : ) )

Yardhouse

Yardhouse, originally uploaded by 105photography.

Handheld / D40 / f4.8 / 1/2 sec. / ISO 1600!!! / 35 mm focal length.

This picture was taken last month at a bar / restaurant in Glenview, IL called "The Yardhouse." They have over 100 beers and tap and some really great food.

I took the picture AGAINST the request of the bartender. I think there may have been some company policy about letting people take pictures of the bar, but sometimes you have to risk a little to get that great shot.

I hope you enjoy... I KNOW I DID!!
